Flavanone glycosides are most abundantly
distributed amongst the citrus fruits. Hesperidin is the glycoside most
commonly found in this particular class. However, the comparatively less
important glycosides belonging to this category are, namely: naringin,
citronin and liquiritin. Hesperidin shall be discussed in details
