Description: 

Epiphytes, 7-8 cm high, pseudobulb subglobose, 1-1.5 x 1 cm. Leaves 6.5 x 0.8-0.9 cm, oblong-lanceolate, obtuse, thin, membranous. Flowers creamy white, in 6-7 cm long compact spike, from the base of pseudobulb; peduncle about 5.5 cm long; bracts 1.8 x 1.2 mm, ovate, acute, keeled dorsally; dorsal sepal oblong-lanceolate, acute, 1-veined, gland-dotted; lateral sepals boat-shaped, strongly keeled, truncate at apex; petals elliptic-oblong, 1-veined, glandular; lip 2.5 x 1-1.1 mm, oblong, acute, with orbicular small side lobes, 3-veined, glandular.

Distribution:

Andaman Is., Assam, Bismarck Archipelago, Borneo, Cambodia, China South-Central, China Southeast, East Himalaya, Hainan, India, Jawa, Laos, Lesser Sunda Is., Malaya, Maluku, Myanmar, Nepal, New Guinea, Nicobar Is., Philippines, Solomon Is., Sulawesi, Sumatera, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam (Quản Bạ, Đồng Văn (Hà Giang)).

Ecological:

Epiphytic on tree trunks and branches or lithophytic on rocks in forests or along valleys; at elevations of 200 to 2600 m.

Flowering times:

Blooms in the winter, spring and summer.

Flower size:

1.8 cm.

Cultivation:

Warm growing epiphyte.
