Uses: 

Sedative, induce sleep, regulate menstruation, treat neurasthenia, cough, edema (the whole tree is decoction). The leaves are pounded and applied externally to cure boils, foot ulcers, and pyoderma. The whole plant cures fire burns and boiling water burns.
