its native range is Temp. Eurasia, Macaronesia, N. & NE. Tropical Africa.

Vietnamese  name:

Lu lu đực, Cà đen, Nụ áo, Quả độc, Nhờ ất (Kdong), Tầm bóp đực.

Uses: 

Cure cough, laxative, diuretic, hemorrhoids, liver pain (decoction of leaves). Swelling (heat the leaves and then apply to the injured area).

Distribution: 

In Vietnam, the plant grows naturally and is common in crop fields in the plains and midlands of our country
