its native range is Central & S. China to Vietnam, Taiwan.

Vietnamese  name:

Cây hồng vụng, Kim anh tử, Mác nam coi (Tày), Thích lê tử, Đường quán tử.

Distribution:

The tree grows wild in the low mountains in Cao Bang and Lang Son provinces.

Uses:

Cure lucid dreaming, spermatogenesis, urinary incontinence, haemorrhage, blood clots; Long-term diarrhea, long-term dysentery, nervous breakdown.
