Uses: 

Tonic, stimulate digestion, cough, hoarseness (root).

Distribution:

In Vietnam: Son La, Ha Giang, Lao Cai. The tree grows naturally on the edge of the forest, at an altitude of 500-1600 m. Rare plants (VU) have been included in the Vietnam Red Book.
