The native range of this species is Indian Subcontinent to China (W. Yunnan) and Indo-China. It is a tree and grows primarily in the wet tropical biome.

Chiêu liêu, Chiêu liêu đồng, Kha tử

Latin name: 

Terminalia chebula Retz.

Family: 

Combretaceae.

Uses: 

Treating diarrhea, hoarseness, sweating, hemorrhoids, sperm, white blood cells (fruit).

Distribution:

In Vietnam: The tree grows naturally in secondary forests in the southern provinces of our country.

Flowering and fruiting season: 

May-September
