The native range of this species is India to China (Yunnan) and Indo-China. It is a tree and grows primarily in the wet tropical biome.

Latin name: 

Anogeissus acuminata (Roxb. ex DC.) Guillaum. et Perr.

Family: 

Combretaceae.

Uses: 

Astringent wound (Leaf). Hemiparesis (Shell).

Distribution: 

Ha Bac, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Dong Nai, Kien Giang. The tree grows naturally in primeval forests, mountainous areas, limestone mountains, at an altitude of 700 m.

Flowering and fruiting season: 

June-November
