The native range of this species is Indian Subcontinent to Indo-China. It is a scrambling shrub or tree and grows primarily in the seasonally dry tropical biome.

Uses:
Diarrhea, dysentery, blood stasis, irregular menstruation, abdominal distension and pain (Wood stem decoction for drinking).
Distribution:
The tree grows naturally in the mountainous areas of Lao Cai (Than Uyen), Son La (Mai Chau) provinces; also grown around coffee plantations in Dak Lak.

June - December
