The native range of this species is NE. India to Peninsula Malaysia, Philippines (Luzon). It is a tree and grows primarily in the wet tropical biome.

Uses: 

Treatment of diseases, hepatitis (Bark). Other skin diseases (Oil).

Distribution: 

Hanoi (Botanical Garden), Kon Tum, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Lam Dong. Natural biological plant on the highest floor of evergreen forests, at an altitude of 200-500 m.

Flowering season and season: 

November-December; April-May
