The native range of this species is Indian Subcontinent to China (S. Yunnan to SW. Guangdong) and Indo-China. It is a tree and grows primarily in the seasonally dry tropical biome.

Uses: 

Treating poisoning from toadfish, pineapple, cassava (inner bark of the tree). Treating toothache, washing ulcers (bark decoction). Heated leaves applied to reduce swelling and pain.

Distribution: 

Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, Tay Ninh. The tree grows naturally scattered in secondary forests, at altitudes below 600 m.

February-May
