The native range of this species is Tropical Asia. It is a liana and grows primarily in the wet tropical biome.

Uvaria macrophylla Roxb. ex Wall.

Vietnamese name:

Cây bù dẻ lá lớn; bồ quả lá to.

Use:

The roots have the effect of eliminating rheumatism and strengthening tendons and bones; the leaves have the effect of dispersing stasis, reducing swelling, and stopping coughs.
