The native range of this species is Assam to China (S. Yunnan) and Indo-China. It is a climbing shrub or liana and grows primarily in the wet tropical biome.

Family: 

Capparaceae.

Uses: 

Bone pain, rheumatism (Roots). Leaves treat eye pain, children with cam sai.

Distribution: 

Lao Cai, Ha Giang, Thanh Hoa to the Central Highlands provinces. The tree grows naturally along forest edges, shrublands.

Flowering and fruiting season: 

May-June
