The native range of this species is Afghanistan to NW. Peninsula Malaysia. It is a tree and grows primarily in the subtropical biome.

Uses:
Cough, cold (flowers, fresh fruit juice). Rash, smallpox, snake bite (bark).
Distribution:
Kon Tum, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Dong Nai. The tree grows naturally in deciduous forests at altitudes of 200-1000 m.
