Synonym Name: Bulbophyllum ebulbum King & Pantling; Bulbophyllum spathaceum Rolfe.
Description: Ancillary plants, long cow rhizome, very small fake tubers, separated from each other, 4 - 10cm long, bearing one leaf apex. Leaves are elongated at both ends, 20-25 cm long. Inflorescences close to leaves, common stems, 4 - 10cm long, with many flowers. The flowers are small, white, and the spreading platform has a midrib. Thick lip with 3 veins.
Distribution: Found in Yunnan Province of China, the eastern Himalayas, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Java, Sumatra, Borneo, Sulawesi and the Philippines. In Viet Nam: Lâm Đồng (Dalat), Daklak, Buôn Mê Thuột
Ecological: Tree trunks in broad-leaved forests; ca. 1000 m
