Its native range is W. Malesia to Philippines.

English Name:

The Lute-Shaped Coelogyne 

Description: 

It blooms from spring to summer with up to 15 flowers. Flowers are 7.5 cm wide and has a honey fragrance.   

Distribution:

Borneo, Malaya, Philippines, Sumatera.

Ecological:

As a large sized, hot growing epiphyte found on large trees near rivers or terrestrial. 

Flowering times:

Blooms in late spring-summer.

Flower size:

8 cm.

Cultivation:

Plants are usually grown in baskets. Flower grows from warm to intermediate temperatures in partial shade. Water regularly in the summer and gradually reduce in the winter. Pot in medium fir bark.
