The native range of this species is Indian Subcontinent to S. China and W. & Central Malesia. It is a shrub or tree and grows primarily in the wet tropical biome.

Distribution:
Cao Bang, Lang Son, Hoa Binh, Son La, Lam Dong. The tree grows naturally on bush hills, in sparse forests, at an altitude of 500-1,600 m.

March-September; May-December
