The native range of this species is Sikkim to China (S. Guangdong) and Malesia. It is an epiphyte or lithophyte and grows primarily in the wet tropical biome.

Uses: 

Fever, abdominal pain, pain relief, diuretic, menstrual pain (whole plant).

Distribution: 

Cao Bang, Thua Thien Hue, Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong, Tay Ninh. Natural biological plant, forest waste, at an altitude of 600-1,500 m.
