The native range of this species is Tropical & Subtropical Asia. It is a perennial or subshrub and grows primarily in the subtropical or tropical biome.

Vietnamese Name: 

Nhị rối, Tô ma dại

Family: 

Lamiaceae

Uses: 

Treats hepatitis, cholecystitis, colds, diarrhea, and rheumatic paralysis (decoction of the whole plant). Externally used to treat wounds from impacts.

Distribution: 

Lao Cai, Son La. The plant grows naturally in wastelands, forest edges, old cultivated fields, and roadsides at altitudes of 600-1600 m.

Flowering and Fruiting Season: 

October-November; December-January
